Misc January

January pictures:
Another one of Aiden's favorite games at Grandma's house is playing with her many hot pads. I think I've mentioned before that he loves to line them up and make trails but this particular time he balanced on each one and jumped back and forth across the whole kitchen floor.
This picture cracks me up. A minute earlier Aiden's hand had been stretched down resting on his hip (which is naked under the blanket by the way) and it just looked like he was trying to be all seductive or something. I dunno. It just made me laugh.
Aiden loves doing things with his dinosaurs. This day he wanted to share his snack and made sure the dinosaur got a big bite of clementine!
Aiden playing in the snow with Grandma Peterson.
Anything that can be used as a hat inevitably will be.
Wendy and I were showing a yoga move/stretch we learned in class and Aiden decided to join in on the fun.
We took Aiden with us and Grandpa and Grandma Peterson to the train expo at Thanksgiving Point. This cute grandma and grandpa train conductor were letting the kids push the buttons to make the train go. Aiden thought it was awesome!
We have recently started trying to implement the Love and Logic parenting technique in our home which includes a lot of "uh-oh" and "bedroom time". Aiden is learning quickly what all this means and likes to run away and try to hide when he's done something wrong. This was one of the more effective hiding places because it was very difficult to get him out.
When Tyson quit his job at Aspen Press the employees made this giant window sticker  to say bye. It was kind of hilarious to see him drive up to our house with unicorns and rainbows on the car.
Aiden has been sleeping on our floor since bedtimes and night times are so hard for him. Sometimes he begs for us to hold his hand. One day we found Aiden gently putting his stuffed animals on his "bed" and then he climbed on our bed and held Pooh bear's hand and told him it was time to go to sleep. It was so sweet!
After they had all had a long enough nap Aiden spread them out, made them hold hands, then gave them each a sip of his bottle. He's going to be such a great big brother someday!
