Misc February

Random February pictures:
Have I mentioned that Aiden is in a "help myself" phase?
Sometimes Aiden gets to serious about his artwork. I love the look of concentration on his face and the intensity of his chubby hands.
Speaking of artwork, maybe Aiden is becoming a little Picasso.  A few days before I took this picture, we had built an 8 foot snowman at Grandma and Grandpa's house (that's another post if I get the pictures from them) and used these cute wood pieces to decorate him. When Aiden and I played in the snow the next time we were there, he insisted on making his own snowman with the garbage can (we had used it for stairs on his slide) and the same wood pieces. He did absolutely everything by himself!
Lately Aiden has been obsessed with stickers. He discovered that his body was a great place to put them. He might have changed his tune a bit after we had to pull them all off though!
This was Aiden's first experience with water colors and he thought it was the coolest thing in the world! He became very serious about it as well and was very careful to color in the lines.
For some reason he held the paintbrush at the tip like this the whole time.
This is a good example of how well he did coloring in the lines. Pretty good for a two year old right?
Aiden loves to play with our neighbor Savannah (he calls her So-beenana) and this time while she was at our house he showed her the excitement of stacking the pillows to the ceiling and jumping off. It was hilariously apparent that she comes from a family of four girls because while little Aiden would not hesitate to take a flying leap off this tall stack, 5 year old Savannah got nervous and wanted to hold my hand and squealed all the way down!
Grandpa and two of his babies. :) Aiden and Aunt Wendy
More lovely artwork from Aiden. For several days in a row, if he ever colored on the floor with his whiteboard, I'd ALWAYS find his toenails neatly painted with the color he was using on the whiteboard. Again, pretty good at coloring in the lines haha. Also, doesn't he look SO grown up in this picture!?
Aiden and his cousin Ethan. Casey, Maren, and Ethan stopped at our house for one night on their way to Idaho and it was so fun to see them and let the boys play for a while. Ethan is one of Aiden's favorites (even though he always calls him Bryce) so needless to say, a couple hours of playing in the morning was NOT enough and Aiden was completely heartbroken when they left.
