Brett and Jenn come to visit! YAY

October was a fun month. Not only did we get to take our fun trip to Idaho and see lots of cousins, but a couple weeks later Brett and his cute family came down to visit us for a couple days! They stopped at the zoo on their way down and it was so fun to listen to them telling us all about it once they got to our house. As we gave them to tour (since it was their first time down here) the boys were thrilled to discover the sandbox and Aiden was even more thrilled to have someone to play and get dirty with him.

Getting ready for bed was so entertaining! We figured out who was going to sleep where and then the boys went crazy playing on the blow-up mattress. I was too slow getting a picture of their dog pile and only got the aftermath. Brett was on the bottom with at least three of the boys on top of him and then he'd shake and knock them all off onto the mattress. So funny...especially the fits of giggles that would follow the collapse!
The next day Tyson needed help on our guest room which had a huge hole in the wall and carpet pulled back thanks to some water leakage. Luckily Brett can fix anything and they got it all worked out so we could finally paint and organize the room...post to follow. While the dads were busy, Jenn and I took the boys to the park.
Ben and Aiden squished in the baby swings.
On the way back Brigham had to show off his awesome tree climbing skills. He also helped Tommy and Aiden try it out.
The boys stopped and made a cute little bird nest out of the long grass by the walking path. It was cute to see them all working together so focused to make it work.

I love Tommy's pose in the back. :)
There couldn't possibly be a cuter batch of ice-cream eating boys.
They boys made this cute notebook for Aiden to keep and draw in. I think it's a picture of them at the zoo and then driving to visit our house.
Aiden has always jumped off the short box, but since he had to prove he's as cool as the big boys, he now only jumps off the tall skinny one. Oh my...I'm counting the days until we end up in the emergency room...
Nate jumping
Ben jumping
Brigham preparing for a jump
And of course Aiden.
Aiden was so sad when they had to leave and talked about them constantly for weeks. He still occasionally remembers their visit and asks if we can play with them or go see them. I wish we lived closer to them!
