Viva.....St. George: Day 3 and 4

After our visit to Las Vegas we drove to St. George for Grandpa Maughan's birthday party Saturday afternoon. It was fun to be with all the cousins and get to know them better. We spent the afternoon at the church for the party and then met up with everyone for dinner.
First things first, Aiden found the birthday balloons...
...but then he shared with a cute little cousin and made a new friend.
Happy 90th Grandpa Maughan!
Four generations (kinda - Tyson's mom is the actual Maughan)
Grandpa and Grandma
Grandpa was a farmer so they had this cute little "photo op" for the grandkids.
Gwen made this amazing adorable cake for the party. Wow.

Aiden couldn't get enough of these sweet little girls. It was so fun to watch them play with him and to see how he'd try to be just like them.
Playing with the birthday signs after the party.
Later that night we went to the condo where Cory and Kurt's families were staying. Aiden had so much fun playing around the pool with his cousins and was so soo SOOO sad when we had to leave to go to our own hotel for bed. It's nice that he has so many loving cousins to entertain him but it absolutely breaks our hearts when we have to take him away.
On Sunday we woke up early to go to church with Grandma and Grandpa Maughan (that was a stressful experience with an almost two year old) and then went on a windy walk and had dinner with them before heading home.
Aiden was so entertained with Grandpa's walker and pushed it around for a long long time.
Cool dude Aiden entertaining himself as long as possible before falling asleep on the drive home.

We stopped in Orem on the way to our house to see my family and pick up the second car and some other random things. Aiden was thrilled to see G, G, and W.
Aiden's love of shoes and love of helping sometimes combines for a funny picture. This was a HEAVY bag so it was a struggle to carry it even without Grandma's big slippers flopping every which way!
When we got home, Grandma and Grandpa Whiting were waiting for us which also thrilled Aiden. He loves being around everyone! They got to sleep over so we were able to play until bedtime and a little bit in the morning before they left.
Of course we have to add Grandpa Whiting's boots to the mix of shoe pictures!
It was such a fun trip to Vegas and St. George. It's always better to be able to see family so since this trip included so many, it was especially awesome. We only wish we had more time to spend with everyone and more weekends available to travel!
