Viva Las Vegas: Day 2

Thursday in Vegas was a busy day. After a delicious breakfast thanks to Stacia, we headed to a little playground in a shopping complex. It was super cute but also super hot and sadly, they were doing construction on the water part of the park so we didn't stay very long. Next time we're in Vegas we'll for sure have to go again.
Occasionally we remember to take pictures of just the two of us like in the olden days when Aiden wasn't around to take all the attention.
Aiden and Taygen...the cutest boys at the playground!
Aiden gets sooo excited whenever he can go on "syides".
He thinks he's big enough to climb up the ladders like the big kids. He made it to the top so I guess he's right!
After playing for a little bit we walked around to some of the stores and got a delicious ice-cream treat to cool us down. We found the most exciting store in the whole place and couldn't resist taking pictures. It's too bad we're not rich or we would have bought LOTS of souvenirs from this store! :)
We can handle it.
That's right!
Aiden being "cool dude" in the car on the way home from the playground. Really he was half asleep and this was the biggest smile he could muster, but it looks to me like he's totally smirking like he's too cool to smile.
On the way home from the playground and mall, we decided to make a stop at the airport to watch all the airplanes taking off and landing. It was awesome. Aiden had only ever seen tiny airplanes in the sky before and he absolutely loves them, so as you can imagine, this was just pure awesomeness to him. We could have stayed for hours!
Pure fascination!
He sat perfectly still like this for so long....well with the occasional frantic signing of "mores mores mores ehpwanes pweese!"
It was so fun and cool to be so close and they were constantly going in and out, one after another.
After we got home and Aiden took a nap we decided it was time for another dip in the pool. Casey and Ethan joined us for a while too. I was a wimp and stayed in the hot tub, but the boys had some fun in the chilly pool.
Tyson, Aiden, and Ethan
This would have been a cold ride, but we filled all the holes with water from the hot tub so it was nice.
Aiden loved playing with all the swimming gear.

Friday night, Clint, Stacia, and Taygen left for St. George so we decided to take Aiden out to the strip and especially to the Bellagio fountains. We haven't been there for a while so it was fun to be back. We enjoy the craziness of big cities every now and again! It was also great to be able to watch Aiden experience it for the first time. His eyes were so wide open the whole time watching the lights and people and cars and busy-ness. When we got to the fountains, we had to wait for almost the whole time between shows (we saw one while we were walking down the street and it finished right as we got there) so Aiden got pretty antsy, but once it started, he didn't take his eyes of the lights and water a single time. As soon as it ended, he did his famous "mohs mohs mohs" move and we had to entertain him again until the next one started. We watched three or four shows before deciding to head back home to bed.

Aiden likes to put his hands around our necks (see the picture above this) and make us kiss. Sometimes we pull a fast one on him and squish his cheeks into the kiss.
Nothing we tried to get him to look away from the water to smile for the camera.
BEAUTIFUL!! Love the Bellagio Fountains!!
Aiden was so tired on our walk back to the car that he couldn't even hold his head up. But there was so much going on he couldn't close his eyes either so he just rested sweetly like this to watch all the commotion.
