During the first week in August, the older half of the Troy Whiting family went on the trek. The younger three boys (Tanner, Trenton, and Trevor) stayed with us while they were gone. They were here from Sunday night to Wednesday night which gave us plenty on time for lots and lots of fun (and lots and lots of Wii which was probably their favorite).
Monday night was the best family night at the Thanksgiving Point and since we get all guests in for half price we thought it would be a great idea. They had all sorts of water activities but the one we spent the most time on was the giant slip'n'slide down the amphitheater hill. We invited Crandall and Dallin to come play and sleepover and since Cory's family has a pass too they all met us at the gardens and then the boys came to our house for the sleepover too. Needless to say, I was severely outnumbered all night! :)

| McKayla, Marissa, Stasia, Tanner, Dallin, Trevor, Crandall, Derek, Mason, Aiden, Tyson, and Trenton. Talk about a party!! |
I can't believe I didn't get a picture of the slide or any other activities. I have plenty of videos but can't get them to upload. Oh well. It was super fun and we will definitely be making this an annual thing! After we got too tired and cold we headed over to get fifty cent ice-cream cones and then headed home for bed (a few hours later).
The next day the boys had fun playing the Wii and playing in the sandbox. Aiden was in heaven having so many friends to play with all week! We had planned to take all the boys to the dinosaur museum bu we realized it was two buck Tuesday and we decided it was NOT worth it to fight the crowds. The sandbox was just as fun though and we took a free trip to Cabella's to see the fish, stuffed animals, and little shooting range.

| This was a hit for the boys. There are targets all over that move or light up or squirt water or make noise or something when they are hit. Also, it's free. The boys went to every counter in the store to get coins and the employees were more than happy to hand out handfuls. |
Crandall and Dallin were only able to stay for on night so by the time we made it to the dinosaur museum they weren't able to come with us. Sad. We still headed over with Tanner, Trenton, and Trevor which was thrilling for Aiden once again.

| Aiden had never discovered this little section before and probably could have stayed in it all day. |
 |
| Of course the sand and water area was a blast like always. |
 |
| T, T, and T created a masterpiece! |
 |
| Once again, we made a delicious stop for ice-cream cones! |
Later in the day, we tried to find the Alpine splash pad since Cory designed it and it's awesome, but due to bad directions from someone IN Alpine, we ended up at the less cool Highland splash pad. That's ok. It was still fun enough for the boys. Aiden loves anything that has to do with water so he was right at home. The sun started to go down though so by the time we left I think all the boys (especially tiny little Aiden) had permanent goosebumps. Tyson was almost home from work so we just grabbed some pizza on the way home. Yum!
What a fun way to start off the month of August. We love having our great family over at our house! Thanks for coming boys! :)
