Aiden + Lucy + TP Farms = SO FUN

One of my best friends from high school has a little girl just four months younger than Aiden (of course she left me in the dust and already has a one month old little boy!) We have been trying to have consistent play dates with them now that they are old enough to interact and get to know each other. It's so fun! I also love getting to sit and talk with Mercedes just like old times...just different topics! Well last week there was FINALLY a decently warm day so Mercedes called me up and gave me a break from cleaning to take the kids to the farm. It was completely free for all of us since our new membership lets me get in one free guest every time. It was funny to see the different exploring styles Aiden and Lucy used. Aiden took off running and pretty much never stopped. I was so tired from chasing him by the time we got home. Lucy was more patient and would take her time looking at each animal to say it's name and sound and maybe feed it some corn. Both Aiden and Lucy got to go on the pony ride (normally $2 for kids under 3 - lame) because I had some extra tickets from the trip with Crandall and Dallin - they didn't feel like waiting 30 minutes in the busy line. Aiden went first while Mercedes fed Cole and let Lucy watch to decide if she'd want too. Then we bought another ticket for Aiden since he had a meltdown that Lucy would get to go without him.
This picture was zoomed in as far as the camera would go to show how fast and far he would run for me to catch him.
Picking up corn and feeding the ducks through the fence. We spent the most time by the duck pond. It might be because of the ducks. It might be because of the water. It might be because of the ramp to run up and down. Who knows. :)
One of Aiden's favorite things this time was picking up the corn on the ground piece by piece.
The little hero Aiden was shaking the bars trying to free the damsel in distress Lucy!
"Hi bunny!" He touched his nose and then waved and said hi.
Adorable Lucy loved the bunny too!

Zoomed in once again. No worries about the wall in the way of Aiden's destination. He'll just climb up and over. No biggie.
I think this is my favorite picture. Aiden and Lucy were ALMOST as happy watching the ponies as they were riding them.
Aiden is big enough to ride the pony all by himself. He loved waving each time around to his girlfriend for the day and saying "Hi Sucy! Sucy! Hi!"
