UVU family fair

UVU had a family finance fair (or something like that) and since it was free we decided we'd go check it out with Mama and Wendy. They had tons of bounce houses and activities for kids so we were glad we went. Each kid was given play money and they could choose to spend it on various activities or save it to earn interest at a certain booth so they could learn about money. We just let Aiden spend all of his haha. There will be plenty of time to teach him about good money habits and we were there towards the end so we didn't have a ton of time anyway. :)
Training to become a UVU athlete like Aunt Wendy.
Aiden loved the giant storybooks and of course Grandma was happy to sit down with him to read a few!
They had a booth to show some of the new technology for classrooms. I think they called them smartboards or something. Aiden had a blast drawing pictures for a long time.
Aiden may have run into a few people trying to follow the big wolverine footprints.
SANTA! Aiden was so shy and sweet sitting on his lap. I think Santa may have had to pretend to be able to hear him haha.
For some reason Aiden thought it was the coolest thing ever to be able to touch this ice sculpture. It was pretty funny.
This was a station about architecture so the kids could build whatever they wanted with all the millions of pieces of wood they had available. Of course Aiden was in heaven!
It was a fun and random outing but we love to do things that can get us away from the house and our typical routines especially when it's free! :)
